<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate installation of a surround system. <P>SOLUTION: Since the image display apparatus with a surround function (projector) 1 is configured to integrate a surround sound output section 10 and an image display section 20, having only to interconnect loudspeakers 4a to 4d can complete installation of the surround system and enables a user to enjoy a home theater.
