A fibre product offering health-enhancing effects is obtained by causing a fibrous substrate to contain or be bonded with finely divided titanium powder through the process of impregnation with a water solution containing finely divided titanium powder, which is obtained by dissolving metallic titanium via the combustion gas produced by combusting a gaseous oxygen/hydrogen mixture in high-pressure water in a pressure-resistant tank.
