PURPOSE: A method for controlling cleaning process is provided to perform cleaning effectively as removing danger of natural ignition by measuring oil and fat remained on the surface of metal at an oxygen pressing atmosphere through absorbency, thereby controlling the oil and fat to less than an amount corresponding to natural explosion lower limit. CONSTITUTION: The method for controlling cleaning process comprises the steps of setting up a calibration curve for concentration and absorbency for various oil and fat constituents; measuring concentration of oil and fat on the surface of product through absorbency; grasping explosion lower limit by the measured concentration of oil and fat and the calibration curve; and controlling cleaning degree by the measured concentration of oil and fat and explosion lower limit, wherein absorption wavelength for setting up the calibration curve is measured by wavelength having the highest statistical frequency, wherein the calibration curve sets up a calibration curve having the most sensitive concentration of oil and fat for absorbency, and wherein the concentration of oil and fat of product is quantity of oil and fat contained in detergent for washing the product.
