PURPOSE: A method of preparing a natural shampoo composition using a by-product or waste material produced during production of a citrus product is provided. Therefore, the natural shampoo reinforces the softness of hair while solving environmental problems caused by production of a shampoo. CONSTITUTION: A shampoo composition comprises 20 to 40% by weight of citrus juice, 0.1 to 2.0% by weight of citrus extract, 0.1 to 2.0% by weight of citrus seed oil, 0.1 to 4.0% by weight of citrus seed extract and additionally one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of cocamide diethanolamine, cocamidopropyl betaine, sodium lauryl sulfate, sorbitan monolaurate, ammonium alkylarylether sulfate, coconut fatty acid diethylamine, sodium polyoxyethylene laurylether sulfate, glycerine, polyethylene glycol fatty acid ester, silicon oil, butyl-4-hydroxybenzoate and a natural citrus flavor.
