<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a printer directly print various documents such as color documents by transmitting those documents to a remote place by relatively simple equipment and a simple operation. <P>SOLUTION: A transmission side terminal 4 generates print data in a format that print processing is executable as it is by using data received by a reception side printer 6. Print data 51 are added with the address of a server and an identification code 17. A server 5 acquires the IP address of a printer by using the identification code 17, and transmits the print data to a printer 6.
