DATA BASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND DATA BASE ACCESS METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep data base access performance constant after restarting a system when accessing a data base by a dynamic SQL. SOLUTION: This system has an SQL pool 8 for analyzing the SQL (3) and storing an obtained data base access path 4. The stored data base access path 4 is saved in a non-volatile storage device 9 when finishing the system. The data base access path 4 saved in the non-volatile storage device 9 is recovered to the SQL pool 8 when starting the system next time. Before saving the data base access path 4 stored in the SQL pool 8 in the non-volatile storage device 9, an invalid access path is validated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
