PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electric power control equipment wherein power factor of a supplying electric power can be improved and electric power can be supplied in such a manner that high frequency component is not contained to the utmost. SOLUTION: This electric power control equipment is provided with a phase control means wherein an AC power source is subjected to phase control and power is supplied to a load, a zero-cross control means wherein the AC power source is subjected to zero-cross control and power is supplied to the load, and a power supply system control means 13. In the power supply system control means 13, electric power is supplied to the load by phase control using the phase control means, in a part of a period which is at least one-half of a period in the case that a prescribed period of the AC power source is made a unit, and electric power is supplied to the load by zero-cross control using the zero- cross control means in a period except the part of a period in the prescribed period.
