PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic ELD sealing case suitable for reducing a thickness, with high flatness at a flange 21 against a transparent base plate. SOLUTION: A square-shaped bead 25 is formed to the neighboring area of the peripheral part of the flat part 23 of the organic ELD sealing case. The rigidity of the flat part 23 is increased by simultaneously forming the bead 25 when press molding a blank 10 to a box-shaped intermediate product 20, a press molded product 30 is obtained by trimming the flange 21 into a prescribed width after press molding. Adhesion is improved and the thickness of an adhesion layer is made thin by dint of the flange with high flatness, and the deterioration of the organic LED element, due to moisture, oxygen or the like, is prevented.
