PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and reliably search Web pages containing desired information from Web pages opened on Web system such as WWW, etc., by inputting a symbol mark such as a brand. SOLUTION: The system is equipped with an input part for inputting a symbol mark and an output part for outputting a search result, and is equipped with a client terminal connected to a network, a database for storing the addresses of the Web pages on which the information on the symbol mark is contained, and a search part for search the addresses by accessing the database, and has a symbol mark search server connected to the network. The symbol mark search server searches the addresses of Web pages containing information on symbol marks similar to the symbol mark inputted to the input part, and sends the search result to the client terminal.
