PURPOSE: A mold for use in a press-molding machine is provided to obtain a formed product having a desired shape by exchanging a lower mold part only, without exchanging a upper mold part. CONSTITUTION: The mold can be used in a press-molding machine which compresses a product to be formed by means of the cooperation of an upper mold part and lower mold part to obtain a formed product having a desired shape. The mold is characterized in that the lower mold part comprises an outer mold part(221), an inner mold part(222) and an intermediate mold part(223) between them; a cavity is formed in the intermediate mold part(223) for defining the side-walls of forming space; a guide means is formed in the outer mold part(221) for guiding the upward and downward movements of the intermediate mold part(223); the inner mold part(222) can move upwardly and downwardly in the cavity formed in the intermediate mold part(223); the top face of the inner mold part(222) defines the top and bottom faces of the forming space with cooperating with the bottom face of the head of upper mold part; and the upper mold part can compress the product to be formed positioned in the forming space, the intermediate mold part(223) and the inner mold part(222), by the driving force transmitted from an outer driving means, wherein each of the intermediate and inner mold parts is dropped by the pressure of the upper mold part.
