<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer based print system configured to perform the centralized management of a shared printer, to directly despool rendered data from a print feeding source to the printer, and to make it possible for a user to select a specific printer driver. <P>SOLUTION: This print system comprises a client computer 80 or optionally a server computer, one or more printer drivers 88, a print processor 100, an extended spooler 160, one or more printers 108, and a means for initiating a print job. The print job is initiated by the client computer 80 or the printer 108.
