<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system through a network by which illegal or erroneous printing is evaded and an operation at the printing time is simplified. <P>SOLUTION: In this system where at least a print portal 100 functioning as a mediating server and a print station 30 are connected on a network. The print portal 100 receives a job from a job transmission origin 10 through the network, and manages it for each execution authority. When the execution authority instructions the output of a job from an instruction client 40 to the mediating server, the mediating server authenticates the execution authority in a biological authentication method or the like, and transfers the job to the print station 30.
