PURPOSE: A portable audio/video player including an auxiliary battery is provided to supply continuously the electric power by using an auxiliary battery as well as a main battery. CONSTITUTION: A portable audio/video player including an auxiliary battery comprises a plurality of main battery terminals, a plurality of auxiliary battery terminals, and a switching portion. The main battery terminals are mounted in a main body of a portable audio/video player in order to be connected to electrodes of a main battery for supplying the electric power. The auxiliary battery terminals are connected to electrodes of an auxiliary battery in order to supply the electric power when the main battery is fully discharged. The switching portion switches the main battery to the auxiliary battery or the auxiliary battery to the main battery.
