<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such inconvenience that forming an electrode by superposing an output lead terminal and a collector in part for screen printing and firing causes cell fracture at the superposed part of the output lead terminal and the collector as a starting point. <P>SOLUTION: In a solar cell element, different conductive regions are formed on one main surface side and the other main surface side of a semiconductor substrate 1, and a surface electrode is formed on one main surface side. The other main surface side is provided with a back electrode 5 comprising a zonal output lead terminal 5a and a collector 5b that is formed on the roughly entire surface except the region where this output lead terminal 5a is formed in such a manner that this collector 5b is superposed on the peripheral part of the output lead terminal 5a.
