<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machining center support system that enhances efficiency in a trial manufacturing process before a desired component is actually machined in a machine body of a machining center to thereby reduce development cycle of a product, and also is easily applicable to the existing machining center. <P>SOLUTION: When the machine body 3 of the machining center 2 machines a component on the basis of CAM data, a machining information processing module 1a transmits information in machining, which is obtained by totally processing detection data outputted from sensors of temperatures or vibrations installed in the machine body 3, to a host computer 5, and displays the information in machining of the component in the display of the host computer 5 so as to be compared with CAD data. Consequently, a person in charge in the machining center can obtain improvement information in the machining process of the component, based on the comparison of the information in machining and the CAD data, thereby enhancing the efficiency in the trial manufacturing process to reduce the development cycle of the product. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
