摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of maintaining the generating efficiency of the fuel cell even when the output characteristics of the fuel cell has changed. <P>SOLUTION: The output power (FC allowable power) of the fuel cell equipped on the fuel cell system 22 is determined by referring to the output characteristics stored based on the quantity of the supply gas. The power that should be outputted by the secondary battery 26 is obtained as a difference between the demand power based on the load demand and the above FC allowable power. At this time, the value of the voltage changed when the secondary battery 26 outputs the above power is used as a voltage command of the DC/DC converter 28 and the drive inverter 30 is driven so that the drive motor 32 may consume the power corresponding to the load demand. As a result, the output power of the fuel cell changes in the vicinity of the FC allowable power. The output current and the voltage of the fuel cell at this time are measured and new output characteristics is obtained.
