<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector or ensuring an excellent positioning effect when a conductive terminal is assembled to an insulating body, and tolerating a relatively large positioning errors. <P>SOLUTION: This electric connector includes the insulating body, and a plurality of conductive terminals accommodated in the insulating body. The insulating body has a terminal accommodation groove corresponding to each conductive terminal, the conductive terminal includes a soldered part, a main body part and a contact part, a plurality of hooking parts to be engaged with the main body part of the conductive terminal are provided, and each hook part comprises a wedge guide part and a holding part. In a step of assembling the conductive terminals in the terminal accommodation grooves of the insulating body of the electric connector, the conductive terminals are guided by the wedge guide part. When the conductive terminals are assembled to the terminal accommodation groove by engaging the holding part with the terminal accommodation groove of the insulating body, and fixing it thereto, the assembly can be performed with a relatively large positioning deviation, and a relatively excellent guide effect can be obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
