PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pulse laser oscillator that has a high output and whose repetition frequency is variable. SOLUTION: The pulse laser oscillator comprises a first oscillator 25 for emphasizing strengths of laser beams that are emitted from a laser medium 4 being excited by a laser diode by a semiconductor supersaturation absorption mirror 6 to generate a pulse train, and a second oscillator 26 for taking out one pulse in a short pulse train that is inputted from the first oscillator 25, for performing the on-period pulse amplification of a Pockels cell 16, and for outputting one pulse that is amplified by off. The short pulse train is generated by a passive mode synchronous method according to a semiconductor supersaturation absorption mirror 6 by the first oscillator 25, is amplified by the second amplifier 26, and is outputted at timing that is set according to a desired repetition frequency.
