PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating device which can heat an object to be heated made of material with low magnetic permeability and high electric conductivity, and reduce the buoyancy acting on the same. SOLUTION: For the induction heating device, a conductive body 27, having a function increasing an equivalent resistance of an input impedance of a heating coil 21, measured by locating the object to be heated and the conductive body 27 to the position where they are in a state of being heated, by using a frequency close to a heating frequency; is installed between the heating coil 21 and the object to be heated made of the material with low magnetic permeability and high electric conductivity. By the above, the buoyancy acting on the object to be heated is reduced by reducing the current flowing through the heating coil 21, and shift and floatation of the object to be heated caused by the buoyancy are reduced even when a large power is supplied.
