<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the display of maps trimmed in the best ranges, respectively, for individual stores. <P>SOLUTION: A map preparation means for preparing a map in a prescribed range around a designated point by designating the longitude/latitude showing a prescribed point is prepared. Store list data in which prescribed longitudes/ latitudes showing the positions of individual stores are prepared. The longitude/ latitude point registered for a specified store B is recognized, and a map around the point concerned is formed (Fig. (a)). As occasion demands, a position Q shifted by a prescribed quantity from the longitude and latitude showing the natural position of the store B is registered in the store list data so that a landmark object such as station St is included in the map, and a map around the position Q is formed (Fig. (b)). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
