<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head lamp with movable reflectors having a simple aiming mechanism, embodied in a small and lightweight construction inexpensively, giving a fine appearance, and including three sorts of built-in light source units of aiming type. <P>SOLUTION: Reflectors 21, 22, 23 of three sorts of light source units U<SB>1</SB>, U<SB>2</SB>, U<SB>3</SB>for forming a main beam, a low beam, and an auxiliary beam, respectively, are installed rigidly on an single reflector unit 20 which is inclined adjustably relative to a lamp body 10 by an aiming mechanism E. This requires only one aiming mechanism E corresponding to the reflector unit 20, compared with a conventional arrangement which uses individual aiming mechanisms for three sorts of light source units, and the number of component parts to make aiming is lessened. Because there is no gap between the reflectors of adjoining light source units, the lamp can be embodied smaller than in the conventional structure, and also the appearance of inside the lamp chamber S viewed through the front lens 11 is improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
