<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attach an external display device with a large screen to a portable telephone terminal only by providing the portable telephone terminal with display data, a power supply terminal or the like. <P>SOLUTION: This portable telephone terminal 1 is provided with an image data transmission terminal 10, the power supply terminal 11, and a locked mechanism 12, and the external display device 2 is provided with a large display screen 26 on the surface side, connection members 23 and 24, and a lock mechanism 22 (221, 222 and 223) on the rear side. The respective terminals 10 and 11 of the portable telephone terminal 1 are connected to respective terminals 21 and 22 of the external display device 2, respectively. The locked mechanism 12 of the portable telephone terminal 1 and the lock mechanism 22 of the external display device 2 fix both the portable telephone terminal 1 and the external display device 2.
