PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wide band amplifier which widens a dynamic range, makes amplification possible over a wide band and makes a low voltage operation possible.

SOLUTION: The wide band amplifier is provided with a frequency characteristic correction circuit 11 for outputting first and second common-mode signals having the same phase as an input signal, generating a correction current from said second common-mode signal, outputting a feedback output fed back to said first common-mode signal and supplying said correction current to an output capacitor that the output has from said feedback output and an amplifier 12 connected to the pre-stage or post-stage of the frequency characteristic correction circuit 11.
