PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interphone system for a multiple dwelling house that relieves labor and complicatedness necessary for entering its own house for a resident coming to its home and having been able to enter a building of the multiple dwelling house. SOLUTION: A resident absent from its own house due to outing uses a key reader 4 for reading an ID from an ID card 4a to unlock a collective entrance electric lock 3 of an auto door 2, and opens the auto door in a freely opening/closing state to be able to enter the building of the multiple dwelling house, uses an elevator 5 to arrive in the same floor as the house to be returned, and has only to depress a call button of house entrance slave units 8a, 8b,..., ...within a prescribed time counted by a timer of living room terminals 7a, 7b,..., ... for unlocking house entrance electric locks 10a, 10b,..., ... of entrance doors 9a, 9b,..., ... without using a key separate from the ID card.
