PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program registering and sending system, capable of easily dealing with high compressibility and large storage capacity, using a general-purpose video server. SOLUTION: The video server is divided into registering video servers 103, in which a broadcast material 101 is recorded from a video/voice reproducing device 102, and sending video servers 105 to which sending lines 14 is connected. Archive devices 104, each serving as a large-capacity external storage unit, are provided between the devices 103 and 105, and registering boards 111 and monitors 113 are connected to the servers 103.
