PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LD module having an optical output characteristic stabilized for a change in temperature. SOLUTION: In a laser module including a laser diode wherein optical fibers are provided on the laser diode, and a photodiode is provided on the rear end of the laser diode for monitoring an optical output, the laser diode is the one that oscillates at any wavelength in a zone of from 800 to 1100 nm, the photodiode is an Si photodiode, and a reflecting diffraction grating is formed in an optical fiber.
