PURPOSE: A method for discriminating a socket of a test handler is provided to improve the test yield and the work efficiency by discriminating an erroneous socket out of a plurality of sockets. CONSTITUTION: A memory module is inserted into each of sockets(S21). The sockets are mounted on a computer for performing a test. The computer assigns different addresses to the respective memory modules inserted into the sockets on the basis of a memory size of the respective memory(S22). The computer tests the assigned addresses sequentially(S23). After completing the test, the computer creates a first file containing a memory size and a test area of the respective memory module and a second file containing a quality value and an erroneous address of the test area(S24). The computer discriminates a socket having an erroneous memory module with reference to the first and second files(S25). The computer performs a re-test or a failure process on the erroneous memory module(S26). |
