<p>A sanitary chinaware having a treated surface formed with a stain-resistant agent. Said agent contains a silicon-containing functional group that combines with a hydroxyl group of the surface. The stain can be applied by dehydration or dehydrogenation of the surface containing the hydroxyl group with soluble silica.</p>
