<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance authentication precision in an authentication system for authenticating a user based on a hand-written input. <P>SOLUTION: An authentication server 20 exhibits a collation character sequence to the user when a user's holograph is registered. When the user inputs the collation character sequence by hand-writing using an input device 10, the collation character sequence and hand-written input signature information are registered in a dictionary 27. In the authentication, the authentication server 20 requires the hand-written input of the collation character sequence to the user. When the user inputs the collation character sequence according to the requirement, a signature information control part 25 compares signature information input newly with hand-writing by the user with the signature registered in the dictionary 27 so as to output a result therein. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
