<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single stage converter of an inverter for an LCD backlight to realize a single stage type IC. <P>SOLUTION: The single stage converter of the inverter for the LCD backlight for converting a DC voltage into an AC voltage comprises a single stage type IC having a unique circuit configuration formed in an ASIC. Thus, a unique application circuit can be realized. Instead of a product of existing two stage type, the size of the product is reduced, the efficiency is improved, the number of the components is reduced, and hence the saving effect for the material cost is large. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
