<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of copying a book original as a single job even when the copy object pages of the book original are changed on the way. <P>SOLUTION: When a user depresses any of read page designation keys 31a, 31b, 31c of a book original in the unit of spread pages on a read page designation menu displayed on a touch panel display 3 to designate any of left, right and both pages as a read object page, a control section reads an image of the read object page designated by an image read section, reads the image of a preceding read object page when the designation of the read object page is not revised within a prescribed time thereafter, but reads the image of the read object page after revision when the designation of the read object page is revised through the control of the image read section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
