PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve at the same time both problems of copyright, etc., when file information of a BS digital broadcast, etc., is stored and problems of an access time when the stored information is reproduced. SOLUTION: A stored data file comprises a file identifier, time stamp information, link information, and entity information. The 'file identifier' is set to 'entity' when file data are stored as entity information and to 'link' when it is specified as a pointer on a stream. When the 'file identifier' is 'entity', the data of the file are stored in the 'entity information', but when the 'file identifier' is 'link', link information specifying the file information as the pointer in the stream is stored in 'link information'. When of them the 'file identifier' is set to depends upon whether the data are allowed to be stored as the entity information of the file.
