PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generator that effectively utilizes waste heat in cooking for securing a temperature difference that is effective in thermoelectric generation, and improves utilization efficiency in energy. SOLUTION: A system kitchen generator having a thermoelectric generation unit S5 is provided in a system kitchen S1. The thermoelectric generation unit S5 is equipped with a thermoelectric generation element module that has a high-temperature heat absorption section and a low-temperature heat radiation section, and carries out thermoelectric generation by a Zeebeck effect generated by the temperature difference between the high-temperature heat absorption section and the low-temperature heat radiation section, a high-temperature- section heat transfer means that is closely fixed to the high-temperature absorption section of the thermoelectric generation element module and is directly or indirectly brought into contact with the gas flame of a gas table S2 in the system kitchen S1, and a low-temperature heat radiation means that is closely fixed to the low-temperature heat radiation section and is directly or indirectly brought into contact with water being supplied from a water faucet S3 in the system kitchen S1.
