PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitor camera equipment which can prevent deterioration of photographed image which is to be caused by switching a photographing mode in the case of pan tilt operation, and acquire an optimum photographed image. SOLUTION: The monitor camera equipment is provided with a camera 2 which performs photographing with a color photographing mode or a monochromatic photographing mode according to illuminance, rotating tables 5, 6 for performing the pan tilt operation of the camera 2, and a control unit 8 for controlling the photographing mode switching of the camera 2 and controlling the pan tilt operation of the rotating tables 5, 6. The control unit 8 stops the switching of the photographing mode of the camera 2 when a pan tilt operation speed of the rotating tables 5, 6 is at most a previously determined pan tilt speed.
