PURPOSE: An organic electro-luminescent device and a fabricating method thereof are provided to improve the resolution and a numerical aperture by forming an array element and an organic electro-luminescent diode on different substrates, respectively. CONSTITUTION: An organic electro-luminescent device includes the first and the second substrates(110,130), an array element(112), a color changing portion(136), the first electrode(140), an organic electro-luminescent layer(144), the second electrode(146), and an electric connection pattern(148). The first and the second substrates(110,130) face to each other. The array element(112) includes a plurality of switching elements(112a) formed on the first substrate(110). The color changing portion(136) includes a plurality of color changing layers(132a,132b,132c) located at a lower portion of the second substrate(130). The first electrode(140) is located at a lower portion of the color changing portion(136). The organic electro-luminescent layer(144) is located at a lower portion of the first electrode(140). The second electrode(146) are patterned in sub pixel units on a lower portion of the organic electro-luminescent layer(144). The electric connection pattern(148) is used for connecting electrically the switching elements(112a) to the second electrode(146).
