PURPOSE: A system for supporting a commercial transaction and a method for purchasing and selling a commodity using the same are provided to transact between a buying company and a selling company smoothly by supplying information, which is related to a credit rate of new business acquaintance and variation on the management of a conventional business acquaintance, to the buying company and the selling company with accuracy. CONSTITUTION: A member information server(111) stores information of member buying companies(P1-Pn) and member selling companies(S1-Sn). Fund grade setting servers(121, 131) set a fund grade of the buying company and the selling company based on an audit and a credit grade designated in a national official recognition institution. A delivery grade setting server(141) sets a delivery ability grade of the selling company based on a production condition. A delivery observance grade setting server(151) sets a delivery observance grade of the selling company based on delivery observance results of the selling company during a predetermined period. A quality observance grade setting server(161) sets a quality observance ability grade of the selling company during a predetermined period.
