HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE NETWORK SYSTEM AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR

PURPOSE: A household appliance network system and a control method therefor are provided to simply and efficiently exchange information between added new household appliances and old household appliances when the new household appliances are added in an internal network of a home networking system having the old household appliances. CONSTITUTION: A network management device(M) controls the flow of data transmitted and received through an internal network constructed for a home networking. Active-type household appliances(A) transmit and receive the data with the internal network, and transmit control commands through the internal network. Passive-type household appliances(P) are controlled by the control commands transmitted by the active-type household appliances(A). The active-type household appliances(A) and the network management device(M) store information about the passive-type household appliances(P) which transmit and receive data with the internal network.
