PURPOSE: A gamma correcting device for a display system is provided to output image signals after compensating the gamma value thereof in a video card part, thereby displaying natural color. CONSTITUTION: A gamma correcting device for a display system includes a video card part(21) for compensating a gamma value of a display system by a control signal input from the outside to output image signals(R,G,B video signals), a microprocessor(22) for controlling the gamma value of the video card part by the control signal, a control part(23) for receiving input signals from the outside to output standard color information to the microprocessor, an amplifier(24) for receiving and amplifying image signals compensated by the video card part, and a display part(CRT;25) for displaying the amplified image signals.
