PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency by reducing the trouble and processing associated with the recording of insurance information.

SOLUTION: Information on an insurance that a patient takes out and default insurance information are inputted (S1) and stored (S2). Then an electronic medical record as records of patient's clinical consultations is generated (S3) and stored together with key information for identifying the electronic medical record (S4). Then a medical record insurance table wherein the electronic medical record and insurance information are made to correspond to each other is automatically generated by using the default insurance information (S5). At this time, when an editing command for the automatically generated medical record insurance information is inputted, the medical insurance information is edited (S9). When the editing is carried out, the medical record insurance information having been edited is stored, but when not, the generated medical record insurance information is stored as it is (S7).
