PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anonymous information source identifying method and system, which can identify an information source at an information destination as the needs arises, and can confirm that information from the information source has reached at the information destination. SOLUTION: An information source device 1 registers an ID and a public key Pkb at a reliability confirmer device 5 (Step S21), and the reliability confirmer device 5 stores the ID and the public key Pkb and signs the public key Pkb with a signature key Ska of the confirmer to transmit it back (Step S23), and the information source device 1 receives a signature Ska (Pkb) from the reliability confirmer device 5, and signs an information M with a signature key Skb and transmits the information M, a signature Ska (M), Ska (Pkb) to an information destination device 3 via an anonymous communication path 7 (Step S25), and the information destination device 3 transmits the electronic signature Ska (Pkb) to the reliability confirmer device 5 and requests background confirmation for the source of the information M if necessary (Step S31).
