PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of suppressing deterioration of a core for a motor or generator due to fixation of the core, in which magnetic characteristics improved by core annealing are prevented from deteriorating due to the fixation of the core. SOLUTION: In the method, the core before being incorporated into the motor or generator is annealed in the same state as that of an actual fixing state, and then the core is incorporated into the motor or generator to be used. Preferably, in annealing the core, annealing for molding the core into a shape with which a high mechanical rigidity can be provided is simultaneously performed. By this method, high output, miniaturization and reduction in weight of an apparatus can be achieved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
