PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new DC-DC converter which can control to raise an output voltage by suppressing a reverse current with an easier constitution. SOLUTION: The forward DC-DC converter comprises a voltage detector 6 at a secondary side, an error amplifier 7 provided at the detector 6, a reverse current sensing comparator 8 having an input connected to the output of the amplifier 7 and an output connected to the output of a reverse current suppressing means 9, the reverse current suppressing means 9 having an output connected to the output of the comparator 8 and an input connected to an input of the amplifier 7, thereby peak current mode controlling to decide an on period of switching by detecting a peak current of the primary side, comparing the output level of the amplifier 7 with a reference voltage to raise the output voltage when the output level becomes a certain predetermined level or less, thereby suppressing the reverse current.
