PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pair wire capable of easily identifying a wire of a pair of covered wires. SOLUTION: The pair wire 1 includes a pair of covered wires 2, 3. The covered wire 2 has a conductive core wire 4 and an insulative covering part 5 for covering the core wire 4. The covering part 5 has a main body part 6 and projecting parts 7. The cross section of the main body part 6 is a circle. The projecting parts 7 project from outer surfaces 6a of the main body part 6. The other covered wire 3 has a conductive core wire 10 and an insulative covering part 11 for covering the core wire 10. The cross section of the main body part 11 is a circle.
