PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital information processing device to which Japanese alphabet can be input. SOLUTION: In the digital information processing device, numerous Japanese alphabets such as 46 characters of hiragana, 46 characters of katakana, double consonant, contracted sound, voiced sound and p-sound are easily input using the restricted number of keys. Furthermore, by displaying frequency used words starting with the input hiragana or katakana to a display part, input can be easily carried out by the user using the direction key without inputting the whole desired word.
