An object is to make it possible to provide a method for knitting a cable pattern in a tubular knitted fabric with high productivity. Two groups of knitting stitches to be crossed are arranged in alignment on one needle bed and crossed when they are transferred to the other needle bed, and the crossed groups of knitting stitches are securely hooked onto front and back needle beds so as to form a cable pattern in a portion extending over both needle beds. <IMAGE> |
