PURPOSE: A household appliance network system and a control method therefor are provided so that a passive-type household appliance is controlled according to a control command lastly inputted from an active-type household appliance. CONSTITUTION: A passive-type household appliance(P) grasps a number added in a control command received through an internal network constructed for a home networking, and transmits notice information to the internal network. An active-type household appliance(A) increases a number added in a control command to be transmitted to the passive-type household appliance(P) according to notice information transmitted from the passive-type household appliance(P), and transmits the control command, in which the increased number is added, to the internal network.
