The invention relates to a freezable alcoholic beverage comprising alcohol, a mixer (such as water) and a stabiliser is disclosed, wherein when frozen, the beverage is in a rigid form and has a crystalline structure. The stabiliser may comprise various dextrins or vegetable gums. A method of producing a freezable alcoholic beverage is also described.
