<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print controlling device for producing image data by using a plurality of image producing unit which can produce image data from pieces of data each having a different color space form, the device being capable of preventing deterioration of print quality and print speed without addition of any new device. <P>SOLUTION: When image data is produced by using a plurality of image processing units 405 to 407 which can be applied to both RGB form and YMCK form, in the case of performing an image process by the RGB form, color object which is included in an intermediate code in the object memory 203 is moved in advance from the common object memory 203 to a local memory for storing gray-scale conversion data to be used by the image producing unit at the time of drawing the data of the YMCK form.
