<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an accounting on which the actual load of a job is reflected. <P>SOLUTION: This peripheral equipment for receiving and processing a job from an information processor through a network is provided with a means for acquiring user ID and a password from the attribute of a job, a user authenticating means for authenticating a user from the acquired user ID and password, a changing means for charging the authenticated user for the processing of the job, and a charging information storing means for storing the charging information of each user.
