PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a twofold type portable terminal improved so as to easily realize dustproof and waterproof. SOLUTION: In a portable terminal, a flexible circuit board 4 with a margin in length so as not to apply tensile stress to a part in the vicinity of a hinge part when the housings are closed, moves in accordance with the opening and closing of the housings. The first and second housings are connected through the hinge part. The flexible circuit board 4 is pulled around from the first housing to the second housing through the hinge part. An opening part 5 for passing through the flexible circuit board 4 is provided in the vicinity of the hinge part of the first housing. Key rubber 6 covers a plurality of metal plates for a switch arranged at least on a printed circuit board. A member 10 with the coefficient of friction smaller than that of at least the key rubber 6 is disposed between the extending part 6a of the key rubber 6 and the opening part 5.
